I'm making my first barn door, and it has to fit a small space. I find the low profile will work with 1/2" to spare. I love the extras that take the product up a notch. I'm going to use the 2-sided handle set up, but I have to decide if I will carve out the one side or chisel....scary I don't want to make mistake. I purchased the quiet close, which I need to add, but I think it will be nice and have that + feel.

I recently installed two barn doors over a 100” opening, so each door was 53” wide and the total run was 13’. It was my first time using Dusty’s hardware.
I found the hardware very strong and easy to work with. Each of my doors weighed 120 pounds and the hardware handled it with ease.
Two observations. The door stops on the rail are the best design I’ve ever seen, and I’ve installed well over 100 doors. Dusty’s door stop is configured to slide past and over the lag bolt head which is just brilliant. The ‘J’ straps are strong and the wheels roll very smoothly.
If I had a suggestion it would be to move to a 5” lag bolt for attaching the rail to the wall. The four inch supplied lag bolts are too short for a heavy door, and 5” is not too long when using a mounting board on the wall, and I would never install a door without a mounting board.
But beyond that I liked the hardware and Dusty’s will be my go-to for hardware from now on.

Our double barn doors and hardware arrived on time (or early) and were in perfect condition upon arrival. We ordered the unfinished alder wood, and our stain looks fantastic on the doors. Would recommend Dusty’s for future purchase.

When I ordered the double bypass door hardware, I was uncertain about its install. I should have checked better to verify that all parts were there. They may have been, but I am not certain. I ended up one roller short and had to order another. This roller worked well and matched perfectly. Thank you

Great quality hardware!
all parts arrived quickly and as advertised. My only (minor) complaint is that the top mount rollers were a little tricky to install. An improvement would be to have the mounting holes line up with the center of the roller. That way you don't have to account for the offset. For sure would order from Dusty's again, great product!

This is such a beautiful addition to our upstairs primary bedroom. I did struggle with the ordering process and had to alter it once and missed the right glass type selection and the soft close hardware. I guess as a first time buyer I could have used some assistance. Additionally, the delivery of the door was quite a bit longer than I would have expected.
