A few tweaks are needed

Pretty good overall. Nice finish. The track standoffs need to be slightly "deeper" to get the track another 1/8" away from the wall. I used large washers for this (see photo)The head of the bolt on the back of the bracket that holds the wheel on rubs the wall otherwise if there are any slight humps of spackle. Also, the base of the standoff will crush into the sheetrock when tightening the lag screws into the studs, so it may be a good idea to use a "header" board across where the track will be.

Thank you for the 5 star rating Bob! We're glad to hear that you like the quality of the hardware and the finish. With regards to the back of the bolt rubbing on the wheel, this will happen if the doors are thicker than 1-3/4' and you will need a spacer extender (or an alternative like the washer that you used) or a header board.

Love the hardware for my barn doors. They roll quietly and they were not overly expensive. Thank you for your prompt delivery and quality product.

Thank you for the 5 stars Martha! We are happy to hear that the hardware kit worked well with your barn doors. We try our best to send out the hardware kits as soon as possible so that our customers can start their projects on time.

Hardware best suited for a barn

Very unhappy with the thickness of the hardware kit which makes the door stick out well beyond the frame so you can see inside even with door closed.
