Please follow the installation instructions that come with your hardware kit (and can be found on the product page), but here's the general process, in plain terms:

1. Measure your opening carefully. You'll want the door(s) to be wide enough to fully cover the opening once it's closed, with a few extra inches on each side.
2. Confirm you have wall space to the side of the door. Since the door doesn't swing, it needs enough flat wall space next to the opening for it to slide open fully.
3. Locate and mark your wall studs. The track needs to be anchored into solid framing, not just drywall, since it's supporting the full weight of the door.
4. Mount the track level and secure. This is the step where a level really matters — an uneven track will cause the door to drift open or closed on its own.
5. Attach the rollers to the door and hang it on the track.

How do I select the correct door size for my doorway?

One of the most common mistakes customers make is selecting the incorrect door size for their doorway. The door size is dependent on the hardware configuration you choose, in addition to the dimensions of your doorway. The rule of thumb is to have at least 2” of overlap between the side of the door and the side of the doorway or other door if using a bypass installation.
