Spoke Wheel Bypass Barn Door Hardware Kit by Dusty's Rustic Rolling Doors
With its exposed, spoke-style wheel, the rollers in this bypass hardware kit look great while gliding along the track. A bypass kit may be used when there is insufficient wall space to the right and/or the left of the wall opening. The bypass installation uses 2 rolling doors and 2 rolling door tracks instead of one. The second door track is cantilevered in front of the first track, so the doors roll in front and behind of each other. One bypass kit will accommodate a double door bypass configuration.

Compatible with doors 1-3/8" to 1- 3/4" thick. Reach out to us if your doors are thicker or thinner

Configuration Options
2 Doors
Standard configuration. Two tracks, one door on each track. Both doors stack flush on top of each other when pushed to the open position
3 Doors
A third door is added to the standard configuration. Two doors on the inside track and the 3rd door on the outside track. The two doors on the inside track do not bypass each other
4 Doors
Two doors on each track. The two outer doors overlap the inner doors when in the closed position. The front doors sit flush in front of the back doors when in the open position. Typically used for wide doorways or for dividing rooms

This hardware is very sturdy and very well built. Just be careful. You need at least a 12" clearance about your for to install this

I like the look once complete, but had to take it apart several times to fix the issues.
When picking this spoke wheel I knew we had to hang the brackets like the instructional video. The 8' ceilings won't allow the brackets to be installed like the picture. So you must install the brackets in the upside down U shape like video.
Here are the issues:
Once installed, the first rail stand offs are not long enough to keep the spoke wheel from hitting the upper U bracket lag screws. Had to solve this by mounting washers to the stand off's behind the rail.
The screws for the upper bracket for the front rail are much smaller and leave a lot of play in the bracket since the holes are the same size as the the rails. Either needs bigger screws or smaller holes to make fitment smoother.
The spoke wheel hangers, the bolts are about 1/4" to long for a 1 3/8" solid door. Had to add thick washers to the back side. Lucky it is for a closet so that side will never be seen.

Well made, good looking and sturdy. Needs more washers for hangars in case door is thinner than expected.
