Horseshoe Bypass Barn Door Hardware Kit by Dusty's Rustic Rolling Doors
The Horseshoe Hanger Bypass Barn Door Hardware Kit has a classic design that hearkens back to the days when barn doors were used on real, working barns. The bypass kit is typically used when there is insufficient wall space to the right and/or the left of the wall opening. A bypass installation uses 2 rolling doors and 2 rolling door tracks instead of one. The second door track is cantilevered in front of the first track, so the doors roll in front and behind of each other. One bypass kit will accommodate a double door bypass configuration.

Heavy-duty 1/4" powder-coated steel tracks and hangers are built tough to last a lifetime
Quiet Glide Wheels
Polymer nylon wheels so that your door glides along the track quietly and smoothly
16" On Center
Tracks are drilled at 16" on center to align with stud spacing for easy installation on tracks up to 8'
Adjustable Door Stops
Customize the open/close position of your doors with adjustable door stops
All Parts Included
Includes everything you require to mount your doors (door & handle not included)

Door Thickness
Compatible with doors 1-3/8" to 1- 3/4" thick. Reach out to us if your doors are thicker or thinner
Weight Capacity
Built for a maximum weight capacity of 250lbs per door
Track Length Options
Choose from track length from 4' to 20' long on the "Track Length" dropdown menu
Overhead Clearance
This kit requires 7-1/8" from top of door to ceiling for installation

Distance from wall to outside edge of outer door is 6"

Configuration Options
2 Doors
Standard configuration. Two tracks, one door on each track. Both doors stack flush on top of each other when pushed to the open position
3 Doors
A third door is added to the standard configuration. Two doors on the inside track and the 3rd door on the outside track. The two doors on the inside track do not bypass each other
4 Doors
Two doors on each track. The two outer doors overlap the inner doors when in the closed position. The front doors sit flush in front of the back doors when in the open position. Typically used for wide doorways or for dividing rooms

Unique product made of solid materials. Came with good instructions. I appreciate your choice of sizes as I had to match a single closet door with a double bypass. I had one minor problem with the double bypass doors. The nut on the back of the horseshoe hanger was catching the bracket as the door was being opened. I tightened the nut a few turns and had enough clearance. Thank you.

Everything in the kit appears to be high quality materials. I had to call after my installed and I questioned the small diameter lag bolts that were to attach the hangers to my header. I got a prompt response via email saying "the warehouse says that's the correct size". I would have hoped there was a higher authority than the warehouse. I went out and purchases 16 larger lags that fit the holes more appropriately as well as 16 bolts to hold the two hanger pieces together. The nuts included would only grab 2 threads of the bolts so I was forced to purchase longer bolts. Overall I'm satisfied but bothered by the time and energy wasted in correcting the problem
