BarnCraft Midrail Plank Barn Door by GlassCraft

The vertical and horizontal lines on the Midrail Plank Barn Door give it a simple yet strong design. This door looks great with a modern, clean Knotty Alder finish or the more rustic Barnwood finish with its grooves and unique staining. Its versatility allows it to blend in with any design motif or stand out as the centerpiece of your room. The Midrail Plank Barn Door is available in two wood finishes:

Wood Texture

Barnwood Knotty Alder

Barnwood Knotty Alder features a distinctive weather-worn texture with enhanced distressed marks for an authentic barn door look. The wood is heavily textured with knots, occasional holes, distress marks and the odd rusty nail. The Barnwood finish is applied by hand and is irregular in stain, color and appearance. No two doors are alike.

Rustic Knotty Alder

Rustic Knotty Alder features the natural patterns and features of Knotty Alder without the weathered look of the Barnwood. This texture is not smooth as it has the occasional mill mark and knot- hole to give it a rustic appeal. However, this style looks quite striking when finished.

Cross-rails design is on one side only. Backside of door is vertical planks
Wide rails are 8" wide (if applicable)
Narrow rails and stiles are 4" (if applicable)
Planks use tongue-and-groove connection method. Rails are screwed into planks
Planks are 3/4" thick and rails are 1" thick

Shipping is $325 for the first door and $40 for each additional door.

Manufacturing Lead Time

Lead time on the doors is 15 business days. Shipping takes 5-6 business days. Total lead time from ordering to delivery is ~1 month

Great quality doors

Pretty pleased with the doors, good quality. My only recommendation would be to router out the track slot, but outside of that, this is exactly what I wanted. Thanks.

Hi Peter, thank you for the 5 star review! We are happy to hear that you like the quality of the door. With regards to the route on the bottom of the doors, unfortunately GlassCraft does not route or mortise for guides or handles. This is to avoid design or measurement complications with the customer's preference. We have however added this bit to our installation manual and we have an easy to follow step on how to mortise or cut underneath any door :)

Took twice as long as it was supposed to to be delivered. Was supposed to be grayed barn wood, showed up unfinished

If you wanted it finished, you would have had to have selected one of the finishes before checking out. I also looked into the delivery time of your door. On the product page the estimated delivery time is 17 business days after the purchase date. I can see that your door was delivered to you 18 business days after you placed the order. We apologize if the door was 1 day late, but please don't say that it took twice as long to deliver.
