Soft Close for Sliding Barn Door Hardware
This soft close damper is hidden behind the rail, it slows the doors by bringing them to a soft stop in their final position. This unique feature means that less force is required to close the doors, and the doors automatically glide gently into the end position. This soft close barn door hardware system provides additional operating convenience on any sliding door.
Features
- Package includes two soft close mechanisms (left and right), one for opening and one for closing.
- All necessary screws and hardware included.
- For doors 50lbs - 176 lbs
- The soft close is not visible to users when installed (it is mounted behind the track), so the black soft close can be used with brushed nickel finish hardware.

Nice addition to barn doors. Directions are pretty poor. Ended up watching a YouTube video which explained it better. It would be nice if dusty made video regarding installing these units.

At first, the door didn’t fully engage with the piston’s latch mechanism because the door was too far below the track. But the tab on the door has a screw adjustment to raise the engagement block. That did the trick nicely! Nice product!
